Appointed by Huber Parking UK, MTF installed specialist Sikafloor systems across the internal parking levels and roof deck.
The project covered approximately 18,565 m² in total:
The systems were selected for the project’s requirements, including durability, UV stability and traffic exposure. The specific system selection was based on the different conditions across the internal levels and roof deck.

Before installation, MTF carried out a pre-start concrete survey. The work included moisture assessment using a CMEX Tramex moisture meter and surface-strength assessment using an Elcometer Schmidt Hammer.
These checks helped inform the preparation and installation planning. Substrate assessment is an important part of resin flooring work because moisture, weak concrete or inadequate preparation can affect adhesion and the long-term performance of the installed system.
MTF also used a Preptec S750 shotblaster to prepare the surfaces, helping create the profile required for the specified flooring systems.
The work took place in the run-up to winter, when wet weather and fluctuating temperatures presented additional challenges.
MTF worked with Huber Parking UK to coordinate the programme, protect prepared areas and adapt scheduling where required. Daily quality checks included monitoring site conditions and reviewing surface preparation, resin mixing and application thickness against the relevant requirements.
The project was handed over within the agreed contract programme. MTF’s existing project case study records positive feedback from the project stakeholders on the finish, attention to detail and professionalism of the team.
Multi-storey car parks place specific demands on flooring and deck systems. Traffic, weather exposure, the condition of the concrete and the requirements of individual areas all need to be considered when selecting and installing a system.
